Webroot has offered their latest product to the general public – the Webroot Internet Security suite.
The suite includes antivirus, anti-spyware, anti-malware, firewall and anti-phishing solutions for personal home use, business and corporate applications.
The program comes in three different bundles, each offering additional components, depending on the price you’re willing to pay – the basic antivirus, the Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus version and lastly, the Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Complete version.
The Complete version includes functionalities provided by the previous two versions along with a few unique technologies available only for that bundle.
Is Webroot Internet Security Suite Worth Buying?
In order to answer that question, we need to talk a bit more about the Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security capabilities and functions.
For the purpose of this internet security review, we’ll refer to the aforementioned product keeping the all-inclusive Complete version in mind.
The first thing you need to know and the best thing, in my opinion, about this suite is the fact that it has just a minor footprint on your system. That means that the program is easy to install, takes up just a little space and relies almost exclusively on cloud technology to run.
For you, that means close to none performance impact and tests and other reviews attest to this fact.

Through using the cloud, there’s a much better overall management of this particular software.
Virus and other malware and spyware definitions are updated accordingly and the customer support is something enviable among antivirus competitors of the Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security suite. Website and link scanning capabilities are included in this suite as well.
Scans done with this antivirus usually take a lot less to complete than any of its competitors, even if they’re complete scans that include root kits. The suite also features real-time scanning for key loggers and potential phishing activities.
You can erase your online activity completely in order to keep your browsing history, saved passwords and other, possibly private information secure.
Speaking of passwords – it also allows you to save your passwords into one single place and retrieve them whenever you need to in a safe, secure manner.
Last, but not least, the Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security suite offers 25GB of free storage on their cloud. You can access whatever you’ve stored there from any device connected to the web.
Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Review Summary
The Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Complete suite offers all the aforementioned capabilities.
However, if you want the cheaper versions, you’ll still get most of its functionality and the important stuff like the antivirus, firewall and antispyware functions. But considering the low price and overall positive reviews, I don’t think you should take a compromise when it comes to your computer and your own online safety and go for the complete version.

Absolutely my favorite
Webroot has software that will automatically scan everything that you already have upon initial installation or originally have. For example any usb sticks, external hard drives, all the drives on your computer, burned CDs it basically can scan everything you own right off the bat. This is a very nice feature because no matter what antivirus you have had before you can already be infected and not know that. The second biggest feature that I like about Webroot Antivirus is that it has a multiple application suite depending on which you get, you can just use it for everything and be done with it. Anti-malware antivirus and I’m pretty sure it detects malicious connections made by programs although I haven’t really had to mess with the networking side of things. This means one application does it all at once. I love it
Webroot is outstanding security software!
Webroot takes “First Prize” prize in efficient security software. I installed Webroot during a Best But computer purchase four or five years ago, and haven’t had a minutes trouble or a virus, malicious software problem since. It keeps itself up-to-date during the night while I am sleeping and I seldom even think of it as being constantly busy protecting my three home computers. I highly recommend Webroot for problem-free security. It is the very best available!

I typically use McAfee but haven’t had any complaints about Webroot and haven’t wished once that I had gotten the other one. Webroot is Easy to use and there are not a lot of pop ups. I do not have any viruses and have had the computer almost a year. The icons are easy to use and are nicely designed. Works with my computer nicely. It was super easy to install, just go to the website and type in the code and it works!
Pleased with Webroot
I have had Webroot since October 21, 2018, I bought the two year subscription. I have been very pleased with this so far. I check the site frequently just to make sure it is working properly, and so far everything has been on schedule and accurate. I have no complaints at this time. I am sure this service will continue to be good.
I have had Webroot since 2014
It came with my new computer then thru Best Buy also! I am totally satisfied with this product and would not use any other! Used to use Norton but thought I would give Webroot a try and have used it every year since then! Easy to use and easy to install. Have not had to worry about viruses and attacks! Totally great product and their support is unbeatable! Keep up the good work Webroot!
Love their product but
Customer service is also very friendly and extremely talented.However, I wish they would respond just a bit quicker.
Good basic protection
I switched to Webroot after several years with another product, which worked well enough but kept increasing its annual renewal rate. I’m running it on a plain-vanilla PC and just needed something to keep the unfriendlies out of my system. It’s been running for a couple of months now, unobtrusive but pops up every now and then to let me know it is on duty.

Webroot is by far the most lightweight and accurate AntiVirus solution I have ever used in my Windows 10 laptop. No problems whatsoever, easy to use and configure and zero maintenance as it updates directly from the cloud, what more can a user ask for? Highly recommended!

I am a home user and I can vouch for Webroot as lean & mean internet security security suite for the home. The fact that a single purchase gives me security for 5 devices (PCs and mobile phones/tablets) and that Webroot is very effective AV, is the clincher.
There is no other internet security out there for me BUT webroot!
I have used Webroot since it was Prevx back in the day and can vouch for it. It is a fantastic product. This was a fair review, I feel you could’ve been a bit more enthusiastic
I'm impressed
I’m impressed by Webroot after using Norton and others. It takes up very little space and does an amazing job in catching malware and malicious web links. Best of all, it does not cause conflicts in Web apps and slow them down, which is a problem I have experienced with other products.
BEST tech support of anyone
I have to say Webroot has the best tech support of anyone out there. I email them and within 24 hours during the week I have an answer; if its the weekend I’ll have it by the end of Monday! It their email doesn’t work for me, or they need to have more info I can call them. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, they will go in remotely and fix whatever is going on! I just THEM! It is time to renew so I thought I would see what else is out there..but after reading all this, I and comments, I think I’ll stick with my Webroot team!

Switched from ESET Smart Security
I am about to renew my Webroot Internet Security Complete and I believe this will be my fifth or sixth year with it. I have also used some of the other software referenced in this review most recently, Eset. In the end, Webroot has always in my experience outperformed three of the other products recommended here.
